Biography
When Alicia Garceau isn’t writing about all aspects of home improvement and design, she’s dreaming up ways to gussy up her own bungalow and can usually be found flipping through design magazines or wandering around with a tape measurer.
Born and raised in a 1970s split-level ranch in Winfield, Ill., she now lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Jeff, who can clean the house in under one hour flat; her daughter, “Mootsie,” who can undo Jeff’s efforts in less than one minute flat; and two cats, who will never, ever stay off the dining room table.
