Like Mootsie's new fall kicks? I just discovered they come in my size. The colors aren't as good, though. Hrrmph. We've been spending lots of time outdoors. More than we ever did this summer. I'm going to go on record as not really loving summer. I don't know why I'm embarrassed to say that, but I'm not a soak-up-the-sun kinda girl. I'm more of the hunker-down-in-the-shade-with-a-book-and-a-big-glass-of cool-something. Always have been.
More weirdness about me: I prefer to spring clean in the fall, so I've been whipping right through The Cure. In fact, Saturday night I tackled the scariest spot in the house -- the extra closet in the master bedroom. It was like an archeological dig through the past four years with layers of pre-baby clothes, 942 duffle bags (Why?!), a grocery bag full of hangers Jeff swears he is going to recycle, a watch I thought I had lost, every single gym lock that had gone missing necessitating the purchase of a new one and on and on. It took hours, but that night I slept so well because the clutter that had constantly called to me and taunted me was gone. The next morning Jeff said, "I feel better just knowing it's clean." Yep. Me too.
