Though Victoria Smith sometimes craves a sleek, modern space,
sfgirlbybay has realized it's just not in her nature. The self-proclaimed flea-market queen enjoys the thrill of the hunt far too much to pull off minimalist design in her 800-square foot apartment in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco.
Instead Smith uses clean lines and crisp whites, which satisfy her desire for a modern aesthetic, to serve as the perfect backdrop for her eclectic finds -- an Art Deco buffet found at a yard sale for $5, a collection of vintage mirrors, and artfully arranged displays of pottery and paintings. The resulting ever-evolving mix is delightfully Bohemian Modern.
In the past three years, I've lost track of the total redesigns Victoria's done. In fact, I'm not even sure if this is the latest. But no matter. Everything she does is brilliant.

It's good to be back.
