What if we all just pretend that I didn't take a six-week blog break? OK? Cool. There was some pneumonia and bronchitis involved, but who really wants to hear about that in the middle of summer when there's way better stuff to chat about.
In those six weeks I did a lot of thinking about SoBro Bungalow. I wasn't happy with its direction; I was on a much-needed work break and the content of SBB reflected that. But now I really want to get back to its original focus: design with a bit of lifestyle (and a smidge of Mootsie thrown in). I've been tweaking the blog's look, too, so let me know if things look wonky, won't you?
I went up north (That's Indy-speak for Chicago. Funny, no?) and popped into Anthropologie for a little creative inspiration. There are six (SIX!) Anthropologie stores in the Chicago area and sadly zero in Indiana. We're due, do you hear me Glen?
I want to decoupage a console table with newsprint or maps like this ladder. Jeff says, "No," while looking at me like I'm out of my mind. I might do it anyhow. [insert evil laugh here.]
Driftwood. See it there on the left? Oh, just wait until you see what I found while thrifting.
Love the leafy prints, too.
